Silver Bullet Technology Certifies Digital Check's Tellerscan TS240 Check Scanner


Nov 21, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Digital Check, a provider of desktop check scanners and remote deposit capture technology to the financial industry, said that Silver Bullet Technology has now certified and supports Digital Check's recently launched TellerScan TS240, a check scanner designed for teller and remote deposit applications, with its Ranger API software solution.

In a release, the Company noted that by adding support for the TS240, Silver Bullet's Ranger API now provides support for its entire TellerScan series of scanners. TS240 enhancements that are supported by Ranger include: - High speed, non-contact image cameras (300 DPI); - Expanded, 100 item auto feeder and 100 item output pocket - Increased scan speeds (50, 75 and 100 DPM models); and - An intelligent front-franking stamp option.

"The TS240 maintains the very reliable TS230 mechanical design and adds the enhancements our customers have asked for including larger feeder and fast, high resolution scan heads, but also very important, they asked for scanner diagnostics and ease of use to facilitate RDC and teller deployment and support." Silver Bullet works directly with financial institutions, scanner manufacturers and software vendors to make check scanners plug-and-play compatible with existing software solutions.
