VANCL.COM Wins Deloitte Prize and Draws Attention from Investors


BEIJING, Nov 20, 2009 /PRNewswire-Asia via COMTEX/ -- On Nov. 20, the awards ceremony for "Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China 2009" was held in Beijing. Online clothing retailer VANCL.COM came in first with sales growth of 29,576.86% in three years. The award recognized VANCL.COM's outstanding performance in garment B2C sector and was also evidence of the ongoing attention that investors are paying to the sector.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China 2009 is an event designed to commend and encourage fast growing hi-tech companies. This is the fifth time it has been held since its inception in 2005, and in the past four years it has become an important industry event. Up-and-coming leaders from the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors are selected in an objective, fair, and authoritative way to showcase the great developments of hi-tech companies in China.

In October 2007, VANCL.COM began to sell Chinese brands of clothing online.


This business has since evolved to be the number one clothing retailer on the Chinese Internet, leaving its peers far behind. According to the statistical data of iResearch, among the B2C websites selling Chinese brands of clothing, VANCL ranked first with a 28.4% market share in 2009.
