[November 20, 2009] 'Scartel increases Wimax network expansion in Moscow' Tweet Nov 20, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Russian Wimax operator Scartel is going to expand its Yota Wimax network in Moscow, according to Rosinvest.com. Instead of deploying 50 base stations per month, Yota increases the monthly expansion to 200. Yota currently has 150,000 in Moscow on a total of 220,000. Scartel CEO Denis Sverdlov has said that 3,000 base stations are needed to provide good coverage in Moscow.
