[November 20, 2009] 'MTS Belarus to offer LBS services' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Belarusian mobile operator MTS Belarus is going to introduce LBS services for business and private subscribers. LBS service for families enables parents to take care of children establishing their location via a mobile phone. Service will be activated via the SMS message and provides location-related information in the same way, while web-based locating will be launched in the future. Service for business subscribers enables to check on empoyees. Service for families will be provided from 17 December of this year and the business LBS service will be available from 16 February 2010.
