'PrimaCom revenues grow 3.8% to EUR 21.2 mln'Nov 20, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- German cable network operator Primacom reports a 3.8 percent growth in revenues for the third quarter to EUR 21.1 million compared with the same quarter in 2008. The revenues exclude the operations in Aachen and Wiesbaden, which were sold in September 2008 to German cable network operator Unitymedia. The revenue growth was driven by a 4.3 percent increase in internet revenues to EUR 2.885 million and a 8 percent increase in fixed telephony revenues to EUR 1.581 million. At the same time, The EBITDA grew slightly to EUR 11.6 million and the investment in upgrading its networks for triple play services amounted to EUR 3.01 million in Q3 2009 compared with EUR 6.52 million in Q3 2008. At the end of the quarter, 438,327 households in the PrimaCom network were able to order triple play services. Primacom's RGUs grew to 849,353 on 30 September. With regards to its partnership with the Escaline/Orion Cable Group, Primacom said that both partners are continuing to evaluate the first joint projects, before deciding on future projects.
