'Kabel Noord to still upgrade internet speed despite delays'Nov 20, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Dutch cable operator Kabel Noord will again this year aim to implement higher internet speeds despite delays it has experienced. The operator said earlier that it wanted to up speeds in its internet packages in week 46, but that has not happened due to reasons it has not elaborated upon. The speed increases will concern: Knid Lauwersland to 1 Mbps, Knid Basis to 4 Mbps, Knid Familie to 20 Mbps, and Knid Comfort to 30 Mbps. Knid Super, a new subscription, has speeds up to 60 Mbps. To implement these new speeds, Kabel Noord introduced a Docsis 3.0 platform at the end of September. Distributed for DMeurope.com via M2 Communications (www.m2.com) |
