SK Telecom to introduce Korea's first LiMo-compliant handset(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The LiMo Foundation, a mobile industry consortium, said on Wednesday that the first LiMo-compliant handset for the Korean market is to be introduced by South Korean mobile operator SK Telecom. The Samsung SCH-M510 provides support for various audio and video media types and includes a 3.5" WVGA AMOLED screen and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. The handset also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and support for proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors. This is the 45th LiMo compliant device overall. The LiMo Foundation, established in January 2007, is an industry consortium dedicated to creating an open, hardware-independent, Linux-based operating system for mobile devices.
