'Telco shareholders to refinance debt'Nov 19, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Telco shareholders, Assicurazioni Generali Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca and Telefonica, have agreed to refinance the entire amount of Telco's debt falling due pro-rata to their stake in the company's share capital. The share of debt attributable to Sintonia will be transferred to S at the time of its exit from Telco. Sintonia is expected to exit the Telco consortium by year-end. Telco is the holding company through which the four shareholders, namely Telefonica, Generali, Mediobanca and Intesa Sanpaolo, control a 24.5 percent stake in Telecom Italia.
