[November 19, 2009] 'MTS Belarus launches Wi-Fi network on university campus' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Belarusian mobile operator MTS Belarus announced has unveiled wireless network based on Wi-Fi technology in Belarusian state university for informatics and radioelectronics. 18 hot spots have been upgraded, data transmission capacity of the network is up to 54 Mbps. Testing exploitation of the network will last a month, services will be free during this term.
