(AME Info (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nov. 18--ORASCOM MOOTS MERGER DEAL: Naguib Sawiris, Chairman of Egypt-based Orascom Telecom Holding SAE, the biggest mobile-phone company in the Middle East, has said that the firm may merge with a competitor by 2011, Bloomberg has reported. 'We're looking for same-sized companies,' Sawiris told a media conference in Cairo. 'There are six or seven suitors and we expect to talk to all of them. I will not join a company where I won't have a majority say. I won't sell off.' To see more of AME Info, go to http://www.ameinfo.com.
