Momail announces deal with Taiwan Mobile(Nordic Business Report Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mobile e-mail company Momail announced on Wednesday it has signed a deal with Taiwanese mobile operator Taiwan Mobile Co Ltd. No financial details were disclosed. Under the terms of the deal, Taiwan Mobile will use Momail's mobile e-mail platform for its Catch Mail offer, which will be the default e-mail service for all Taiwan Mobile customers with a data rate plan. In phase two, the platform will be used to include mobile communication with such services as Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Taiwan Mobile social network and other ISP's services. According to the company, the platform allows the operator's customers to get their e-mail on the widest range of mobile phones, currently over 1500 different models. In addition, with Momail's Mobile Message Optimization & Protection Engine (MMOPE) all e-mails, including attachments like photos and documents, are optimised with up to 99,9% before reaching the mobile.
