Document Capture Strengthens In-Depth R&D TeamSAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Document Capture Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:DCMT), an IP-driven leader in the design, development and sale of next-generation mobile scanning technologies, today announced the hiring of two design and engineering experts to strengthen its R&D team. The recent additions to DCT's R&D team: Mr. Peng-Cheng Chen and Mr. Suleman Saya, are highly-experienced design experts in their respective fields and bring a combined 35 years of technical expertise to Document Capture Technologies. In addition to these key appointments, an additional design support engineer has been hired to strengthen DCT's R&D efforts as it develops new products and technologies to meet the evolving needs of various vertical markets. "With DCT positioned for increased growth in 2010, these recent hires will help us stay ahead of the R&D curve as we begin to ramp-up production for a number of new products coming on board through the end of the year," said David P. Mr. Peng-Cheng Chen is a hardware engineer specializing in ASIC/ FPGA design with 17 years of experience. He has worked at various electronic design firms such as ACC Microelectronics, Cirrus Logic (News - Alert), and Oak Technology. Over the years Mr. Chen has designed a wide variety of hardware solutions, ranging from SDRAM interfaces, to CD-RW controllers, as well as an MP3 player chip. He graduated from National Taiwan University with a BSEE degree in 1986 and has an MSEE degree from University of Washington. Mr. Suleman Saya is a senior software engineer with over 18 years of experience in designing, developing, debugging, and testing of embedded software. He has worked in telecom, networking and storage companies in the Silicon Valley, including: Siemens (News - Alert) Business Communications, Adaptec Inc., Charles Industries Ltd. and LynuxWorks Inc. Mr. Saya graduated from California State University Chico in 1987 with a BS in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics. He has taught C/C++ and Embedded Linux at UCSC extension for over 12 years.
