China Q3 B2C Sales Hit CNY6.06bnBEIJING, Nov 16, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The size of the Chinese B2C online retail market reached CNY 6.06 in total during the third quarter of 2009, with a 33% rise quarter on quarter and a 171% surge year on year, Analysys International, a leading advisor about the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) industries in China, said in its recent data report. In detail, 3C (computer, communications, consumer electronics) commodities took a faster growth in sales, accounting for 44.3% of the total and up 48% quarter on quarter, according to the report. Household items and daily necessities made up 35.5% of the total, and publications 11.3%. Analysys International concluded that the 3C growth in sales was contributed to two factors. One was that B2C companies pushed up their sales efforts. The other was that some B2C companies achieved fast growths in different segments, becoming a force to drive up 3C sales.
