[November 16, 2009] 'Synterra, Lattelecom to cooperate on video content exchange' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Russian telecommunications company Synterra and Latvian fixed operator Lattelecom have signed a framework cooperation agreement on exchange of video content. The agreement is to enable expanding opportunities of Latvian IPTV and cable TV operators to access Russian and foreign digital video content, Russian TV operators are to receive better opportunities to access Latvian video content. Fibre optic link interconnecting networks of both operators will be used for the content exchange, Synterra-Media universal cross-standard video-matrix will be used as a platform for this purpose.
