[November 15, 2009] GE and Comcast Agree to Board Structure on NBC Universal Venture (GE,CMCSA) Tweet Nov 15, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 11/15/2009-General Electric (NYSE:GE) and Comcast Corp (NASDAQ:CMCSA) have agreed to the structure of the board on the proposed joint venture with NBC Universal, according to a Reuters report which cited people familiar with the matter. The source indicated that Comcast will hold the majority of seats on the board, but other terms were not disclosed. The source also indicated that the two firms would most likely not come to terms on the venture this weekend as GE is still engaged in discussions with Vivendi SA to buy the company's 20% stake in NBC Universal. The source said Vivendi is still arguing over terms of the sale in order to get a better price.
