Open Mobile Media Hosts Summit in San FranciscoNov 13, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Open Mobile Media announced that its second annual Open Mobile Summit, which took place in San Francisco on Nov. 4-5, was a success. The Open Mobile Summit brought industry executives from the wireless and the Internet worlds together to explore how to build and monetize the open mobile Internet. According to the company, keynote speakers included John Donovan, CTO AT&T Michael Abbott, SVP, Palm; Cole Brodman, CTO, T-Mobile; David Perlmutter, EVP, Intel; Kevin Lynch, CTO, Adobe; Vint Cerf, Chief Internet Evangelist, Google; Jan Uddenfeldt, SVP, Ericsson; Walt Mossberg, Wall Street Journal; and Rich Wong, Partner, Accel Partners. "We were extremely encouraged with the tremendous attendance and industry participation at the event," said Executive Producer Robin Batt. "It's just a year since we launched the Open Mobile Summit series, and already the conference has become one of the most important events in the industry." "The quality of speakers was superb.
