Allot Communications posts Q3 net lossNov 13, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Allot Communications, a provider of IP service optimization solutions, has reported a net loss of $2.27 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to a net loss of $8.96 million, or $0.41 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2008. For the third quarter of 2009, total revenues were $10.84 million, compared to $9.82 million in the same quarter of 2008. For the first nine months ended September 30, 2009, total revenues were $30.22 million, compared to $27.54 million in the same period of 2008. Net loss was $6.15 million, or $0.28 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $17.53 million, or $0.79 per diluted share, in the same period of 2008. Rami Hadar, president and CEO of Allot Communications, said: "Allot's growth continues to be driven primarily from its leadership position in the mobile market. Since we initially announced the frame agreement with a Tier 1 mobile operator group, we have received an additional $7.6 million in orders, bringing total orders from this customer to approximately $12.6 million to date.
