[November 13, 2009] NextWave Wireless announces Carl Vogel to its board as independent director Tweet Nov 13, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- The board of directors of wireless technology company NextWave Wireless Inc (NASDAQ:WAVE) disclosed on Thursday its election of Carl Vogel to an existing vacancy as a class II director, whose term will expire at the company's 2011 annual stockholders meeting. Vogel is presently serving as a member of the board and senior advisor to multi-channel video company Dish Network Corporation, in which he has previously served as president and vice chairman as well. Further, he is at present a partner of sports, media and entertainment company, SCP Worldwide. Additionally, Vogel is serving on the board of directors and Audit Committees of diversified communications company Shaw Communications Inc and wireless control technology provider Universal Electronics Inc.
