'Accelerated licensing planned for Moscow 3G services'(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Russian telecoms regulator Roskomnadzor plans to adopt an accelerated licensing process to solve the issue of outdoor 3G mobile services in Moscow, Rosinvest.com reports. Russian mobile operators Vimpelcom, Megafon and MTS will receive licence-related documents at the same time. The regulator declined to specify the exact date of the process. Currently, only indoor 3G mobile services are available in Moscow as the frequencies required for outdoor services have not yet been released by the military.
