Nov 13, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Zayo Bandwidth today announced that it intends to deploy TDM and Ethernet services to an additional 300 wireless towers in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas of Pennsylvania to accommodate a transition to 4th generation technologies.

The provider of bandwidth infrastructure technologies and services said that the deployment will enable the delivery of high-speed, LTE wireless network services and also expand existing network capacity and bandwidth to accommodate new, data-hungry mobile services and applications.

Fulfillment of today's announcement, the cost of which was not disclosed, will expand Zayo Bandwidth's wireless tower footprint across the country to more than 1,100 locations.
