Micro-Star International Deploys Mellanox Adapter Devices


Nov 13, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mellanox Technologies, a supplier of end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems, announced that its ConnectX 40Gb/s InfiniBand Host Channel Adapter (HCA) devices have been selected for Landed-on-Motherboard (LOM) applications in Micro-Star International's (MSI) MS-91D1, MS-91D2 Half Size Server Motherboards and MS-92C2 1U high-performance computing solution.

The MS-91D1 and MS-91D2 are based on Intel Xeon Nehalem LGA1366 processors and Mellanox's ConnectX adapter device to deliver efficiency and advanced processing for high-performance and database applications.

MSI servers with on-board 40Gb/s InfiniBand interconnect technology are available immediately.
