Tilgin Gets New Order on IP Technology from Middle East OperatorNov 11, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Tilgin, a provider of solutions for multiplay and broadband services, has announced a new order for IP technology from an operator in the Middle East. According to Tilgin, the operator chose the broadband services provider as a supplier for IP-based Home Gateways for fiber and Ethernet access, as well as the management software (VCM) for its triple play offering to fiber-connected households. The companies said the order value is approximately SEK 9 million. "This Middle East operator has very high demands for technology and quality," said Ola Berglund, CEO of Tilgin. "We are therefore very encouraged that they have chosen us as their supplier of next generation access gateways for triple play services." Tilgin's offering of IP-based gateways to households and management systems gives operators a solution for broadband. Tilgin's gateways are designed to be an integrated part of the operator's network and support zero-touch auto provisioning, remote management and full operator control. Tilgin's intelligent Home Gateways for all-IP communication help operators to develop their offering of multi-play services. ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected])) |
