Walter brings more than 15 years of software experience to Aria's marketing organization. "Lance has the right mix of experience in small, high-growth companies as well as industry leaders to help us effectively manage our brand and marketing program through our next Phase of growth," said Ed Sullivan, CEO at Aria Systems. Prior to joining Aria Systems, Walter was vice president of marketing at Pentaho Corp., a company in commercial open source business intelligence, where he joined as employee number 12 and helped the company grow from one customer to more than 600 subscription customers. Walter also served as Vice President of Product Marketing at Business Objects and has held technical and managerial roles at technology companies over the last 15 years including Oracle Corp., Arbor Software / Hyperion Solutions, and OnLink Technologies which was acquired by Siebel Systems in 2000.
