[November 10, 2009] Google Gives Travelers Free WiFi at 47 Airports for The Holidays (GOOG) Tweet Nov 10, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 11/10/2009 - Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) said Tuesday that it will provide free Internet access via WiFi at 47 U.S. airports beginning today, and lasting through January 15th, according to a CNN report. The company said in a statement, "This is one of our holiday gifts to our users, and when you connect, we also hope you'll take the opportunity to try some of the latest Google products." When users log on they will be taken to a screen asking if they would like to donate to nonprofit groups including Engineers without Borders, One Economy Corporation and Climate Savers Computing Initiative. Google will match donation s of up to $250,000 per airport.
