'The number of dial-up customers represents less than 5 percent of our customers and the number decreases on a monthly basis,' Batelco's general manager Ahmed Al Janahi said. MOTOROLA SHIPS 10,000 WIMAX BASE SITE: Motorola Home and Networks Mobility business has announced that it has shipped its 10,000th 802.16e WiMAX Access Point base site. The group said that this shipment represented over 40 percent compound annual growth rate since Motorola's first WiMAX access points were shipped in 2007. SAGE SOFTWARE INKS ITE DISTRIBUTION AS PARTNER: Sage Software has announced a partnership deal with Dubai-based IT distribution company ITE Distribution to distrbute Sage Software's 'Peachtree' accounting software range and 'ACT!' contact and customer management solution across the Middle East. ITE will handle all distribution activities for both products -- from launches, stocking of supplies, in-store merchandise, product display, to appointment and development of resellers. LEXMARK LAUNCHES TOUCH-SCREEN PRINTERS: Lexmark International has introduced to the market its first single-function monochrome A4 laser printer with a touch-screen functionality. Lexmark's T656dne monochrome laser printer is catered for large workgroups, providing access to preloaded and customizable applications.
