Sonus Networks Q3 net loss narrows


Nov 09, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Sonus Networks, a provider network transformation through IP communications technology, has reported a net loss of $3.39 million, or $0.01 per diluted share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to a net loss of $21.25 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the third quarter of fiscal 2008.

For the third quarter of fiscal 2009, total revenues were $56.16 million, compared to $62.18 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2008.

For the first nine months ended September 30, 2009, total revenues were $158.78 million, compared to $223.60 million in the same period of 2008. Net loss was $15.24 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $20.95 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, in the same period of 2008.
