Funambol acquires Zapatec

Nov 04, 2009 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Funambol, Inc. has acquired Zapatec, Inc., a provider of AJAX Web 2.0 frameworks. Both the companies are based in the US.

Funambol is a provider of mobile 2.0 messaging software powered by open source.
