Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) to merge with Massachusetts Network Communications Council (MassNetComms)

Nov 04, 2009 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- The Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. (MassTLC) has agreed to merge with Massachusetts Network Communications Council, Inc. (MassNetComms). Both the companies are based in the US.



MassTLC is a business association that addresses the leadership issues of innovative technology and technology-enabled companies, while MassNetComms is an industry association for network technology companies.

The combined organization will be known as the Mass Technology Leadership Council.

(MassNetComms) Target 2 (Company) The Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. (MassTLC) Deal Rationale The merger will create one of the leading business associations for driving innovation, entrepreneurship and company growth across the Commonwealth's technology sector. The newly combined organization will have the scope and scale to help spur growth in such traditional areas as communications, computing, networking and software, and in emerging growth segments like mobile, cloud computing, digital games, robotics, video and social media.

The combined organization will bring some of the world's top global technology brands, including AT&T, Cisco, Comcast, Google, IBM, Microsoft and Verizon under one tent.
