'Synterra posts higher revenues, lower profits'Nov 04, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Russian operator Synterra announced that its revenues increased 11 percent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2009 to RUB 5.896 billion. Profit dropped to RUB 643 million from RUB 1.050 billion, due to the inclusion of a gain from the sale of RTComm in the year-earlier results. Forty-two percent of revenues came from interurban communication line rentals and 40 percent from data transmission, VPN and internet access services.
