[November 03, 2009] ACS names Anand Vadapalli as COO Tweet Nov 03, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Integrated communications provider Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc (ACS) (Nasdaq:ALSK) has appointed Anand Vadapalli as the company's new chief operating officer. Vadapalli will have responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of ACS' sales and service, product and marketing, technology and operations functions, in his new role. He will report to ACS President & CEO, Liane Pelletier. Most recently Vadapalli was Executive Vice President of Technology and Operations at ACS and has been with the company since August 2006. He has held various technology and business executive positions at Valor Telecom, Network Telephone Corporation and Broadwing/Cincinnati Bell.
