[October 28, 2009] BroadSoft completes acquisition of Packet Island Tweet (EquityBites Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VoIP application software provider BroadSoft Inc said on Monday that it has completed its acquisition of privately held software company Packet Island Inc. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Packet Island specialises in SaaS-based quality of service (QoS) assessment and monitoring tools for VoIP and video networks and services. This acquisition expands BroadSoft's solutions portfolio for service providers, the company said.
