Iwatsu Voice Networks Releases WeLink Conference ServerIrving, TX, (October 1, 2009) Iwatsu (News - Alert) Voice Networks, a leading provider of voice communications systems, has announced the release of the Iwatsu WeLink Conference Server. Developed in partnership with Esnatech and featuring 1000 conference rooms and up to 24 attendees for each conference, the WeLink™ Conference Server works in conjunction with the Iwatsu Enterprise-CS communication system to enable multiple-party conference calls and secure voice meetings via Session Initiated Protocol (SIP). When installed with an Iwatsu Enterprise-CS, the Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server can initiate on-demand conference calls, bringing together remote users via their desk phone, home phone, mobile phone or soft phone. Multiple meeting modes allow attendees to speak and be heard, or give the meeting Moderator the ability to control when participants can be heard by other attendees. This prevents participants from talking over each other and other background noises that can interfere with sound quality. The Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server is further enhanced when connected with the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite–enabling additional features, such as conference reports. This feature creates a log of all conferences and their participants (who joined, when they joined and when they left). WeLink conferences provide superior adhoc meetings wherever and whenever you want. It allows organizations to maximize their meeting effectiveness. They are easy to start and to join. Users of WeLink simply notify the participants of the conference start time, the conference bridge phone number and the access code. Companies spend a tremendous amount of monthly expenditures on hosted pay as you go solutions to meet their conferencing needs. The WeLink conference server provides SMB’s with the power of meet-me technology integrated with their existing business with no pay as you go fees. “We’re pleased to offer this feature-rich, cost-effective conferencing solution for small and mid-sized businesses,” said Michael Marchioni, Vice President of Product Development at Iwatsu Voice Networks. “Conferencing significantly reduces unnecessary business travel costs and boost staff productivity. The Iwatsu WeLink™ Conference Server capitalizes on the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of SIP technology, making voice conferencing affordable to more businesses.” “The inherent value of on-the-fly group discussions–regardless of physical location–speaks for itself. The value of being a complete SIP based service enables any size organization to deploy conferencing with the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite. The Iwatsu WeLink™ works in any environment and delivers true collaboration amongst a organization’s distributed workforce and customers. Having the service enabled on their office phone service will increase the usage of this collaborative service and promote constructive group sessions.” Mohammad Nezarati (News - Alert) CTO/CEO Esnatech.
