[October 19, 2009] 'Damovo launches enterprise FMC product in Germany' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Unified communications specialist Damovo has launched a new Enterprise Fixed Mobile Convergence (eFMC) product in Germany. Instead of using a mobile network, mobile phone calls can be made over a WLAN and connected internal phones, allowing companies to reduce their communications costs. The system uses existing WLAN infrastructure and combines the functions of business phone systems with unified communications solutions from Microsoft, Cisco and IBM. Damovo is providing the new eFMC solution through its alliance with enterprise mobility specialist Agito Networks.
