In his new role Erwin will strengthen Alcatel-Lucent position as a technology leader in Austria. Graduated from the Technical University of Vienna, Teufner started his career with Alcatel Austria in 1993 at the System & Software Development Department. In April 1999 he took over sales leadership for Broadband & Data network. Three years later, Teufner was appointed as director of Technical Sales and later became Vice-President Broadband and Data network for Central and Eastern Europe. Since January 2008 Teufner has been Vice-President of Technical Sales for the CCSE (CIS, Central & South East Europe) region.
