[October 07, 2009] 'MTS adopts Acision desktop messaging technology' Tweet Oct 07, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Russian mobile operator MTS has implemented Acision's Desktop Messaging platform. The Desktop Messaging service has been developed by Acision in cooperation with its partner Mobispine, as part of the Acision Innovation Network. Mobispine's Desktop Messaging is designed to enable MTS customers to send and receive messages from their computer through a dedicated desktop application plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer and Firefox web browsers. The high-volume platform has been deployed by MTS in Russia and is integrated with the Acision messaging infrastructure already powering MTS messaging. Mobispine has also developed a Lotus Notes application for MTS' Desktop Messaging specifically for the Russian market.
