[October 07, 2009] Veraz's softswitch solution selected by JTL in Kenya Tweet Oct 07, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Veraz Networks Inc (Nasdaq:VRAZ) on Tuesday said that Jamii Telecommunication Limited (JTL), a provider of communication solutions in Kenya and East Africa, has chosen Veraz's ControlSwitch platform to enable optimised routing and improved network management without having to rely on other providers in Africa. Under the agreement, financial details of which were not known, Veraz will work with Adwest, an integrated systems and solutions provider in East Africa, to provide JTL with an advanced voice services infrastructure with centralised management and support for both TDM and IP applications. Veraz said that its ControlSwitch solution enables Class 4 switching capabilities, plus control over signalling and transport between central offices of any mix of JTL's TDM and IP-based traffic.
