Solix Signs OEM Pact with Voltage Security


Oct 01, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Solix Technologies, a provider of Enterprise Data Management Suite (Solix EDMS) comprised of Database and Application Archiving, Test Data Management, Application Sunsetting and Migration and Data Masking, announced that it has signed an OEM agreement with Voltage Security.

Under the agreement, Solix will provide data masking functionality and application templates to Voltage SecureData's existing data protection offering for production systems.

Through the OEM Agreement, Solix will also provide: - Data Masking functionality for non-production databases for custom and packaged applications - Application metadata for packaged applications including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards and BaaN to provide automated masking - The Solix EDMS application templates will further add to Voltage's encryption, tokenization and management technology for production databases "As a result of our OEM agreement with Solix, our customers now have the widest options for de-identification of partial to bulk data in all environments where data is exposed, including development, test, quality assurance and offshore operations," said Mark Bower, VP of Product Management, Voltage Security. "Our enterprise customers can now protect data wherever it resides within their own or partners' systems, and in whatever way they choose." Voltage Security is an enterprise security company based on cryptography, providing encryption, tokenization and stateless key management for protecting valuable, regulated and sensitive information based on policy.
