Gen-X IT Partners with Critical Links to Deliver State-of-the-Art Unified Communications Solution for UK Small & Medium Businesses


Gen-X IT and Critical Links (News - Alert) Showcase the edgeBOX at IP Expo 09, Earls Court London on 7-8 October Manchester, UK, and Fairfield, NJ, USA, September 30th 2009 Manchester based distributor Gen-X IT Ltd (www.gen-xit.co.uk) has signed an official UK Distribution Agreement with Critical Links, (www.critical-links.com) a global provider of unified voice, data and IT solutions for Small & Medium Businesses (SMBs).

Critical Links develops and markets the edgeBOX, the first Unified Communications (News - Alert) Appliance or “Office-in-a-Box” that provides phone and internet communication services usually only available to larger businesses, out of a single remotely managed device, at a price which makes it a viable solution for small and medium sized businesses.

With this agreement, Gen-X will distribute the edgeBOX, particularly focusing on the Small to Medium Business (SMB) market. The distributor will look for new opportunities in the IT channel to expand its business. Gen-X began distributing Critical Links’ products from August and Critical Links will be joining Gen-X on stand 465 at IP Expo 09, Earls Court London on 7-8 October where delegates will able to see demonstrations of the edgeBOX and talk to representatives from Critical Links and Gen-X.
