'WebTech unveils UK Automatic Vehicle Location system'

Sep 30, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- WebTech Wireless, provider of location-based and fleet telematics services, and Chameleon Group have announced the launch of the a new Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system in the UK based on the new Motorola M990 SmartRider in-vehicle phone. The Motorola M990 Smart Rider in-vehicle phone incorporates WebTech's Personal Locator software to automatically report vehicle location, as well as a wide variety of vehicle status and performance measures, to Chameleon's 'Asset Track' remote vehicle fleet management system.
