Google Finds Websites, Findsolve Finds Solutions
NEW YORK, Sep 29, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) --
Companies across the world now have a chance to be on equal standing when it comes to internet presence, with the launch of new solution portal, Findsolve.
Instead of getting lost among millions of websites, businesses will now have the chance to be found in one central location, by those who are looking for their services.
A world first, Findsolve is the brain child of IT strategist and expedition rafting guru Brad Greene who has spent the last few years bouncing his ideas off the likes of environmental activist David Suzuki and Body Shop Director, Gordon Roddick.
"I ran twelve-day expedition rafting trips for corporate groups and that gave me a chance to meet some amazing leaders, refine my ideas and get some fantastic advice and inspiration," Mr. Greene said. "Findsolve will revolutionise the way the world finds businesses and solutions," he said.
Put simply, Findsolve will allow companies to post their solutions, ranking them by the number of customer recommendations and allowing people to find what they want, where they want, without trawling through search pages.
Chris Roberts, Founder of Engaged Marketing and University of Queensland Industry Fellow, said the internet was evolving rapidly and businesses were crying out for a better way to be found by those who are looking for them.
"You can pay so much for search engine optimisation and still end up on the second or third search page amidst a list of web pages that might not be particularly relevant to the original search," Mr. Roberts said. "Findsolve is one of the best internet solutions I have seen -- it puts everyone on a level playing field and gives the world a central place to look for quality information and solutions of any type or industry," he said.
To list on Findsolve, businesses will need to answer five simple questions focusing on why their solutions offer the most benefit to the person searching for those services.
First of its kind, the new solution portal was launched on September 9th (09/09/09) and is expected to quickly become a central hub for businesses.
Businesses can list their solution for a minimal fee of US$120 for each six-month period.
"The advantage for businesses who sign up in the first in their category is that they will benefit from the worldwide launch of the site and begin to collect customer recommendations -- and if they are good at what they do, stay at the top of our ranking system," Mr. Greene said.
"No matter the size of the business, they will achieve popularity and better ranking by being the best at what they do, not being the biggest," he concluded.

About Founder Brad Greene:
Brad began developing Findsolve as a side-project while dividing his time project managing large IT projects and expedition river rafting in the wilds of remote Northern Canada & America. (Yes, we too smile at the thought of an Australian IT nerd rafting in the remote Northern Canada wilderness!!)
It was during his time project managing large-scale IT projects that Brad experienced first-hand the frustration in finding a proven solution to a challenge at hand. The search to find these real-world implemented and proven solutions was slow, tedious and costly -- there had to be a better way.
It was around the fire on the twelve-day eco expedition rafting trips where he would most often hear about a diverse range of solutions that were proven and worthy of interest. It was here that the idea for Findsolve was born -- a web portal dedicated to the sharing and showcasing of proven solutions, from any category and country. In early 2009 Brad left his job and devoted himself to Findsolve full-time.
Brad loves to hear and talk about solutions -- and passionately believes that the solutions to a significant portion of business, community, environment challenges are already in existence. They just need a larger voice.
