The company said that the software based technology eliminates the need for Digital Signal Processing "DSP" cards enabling audio conferencing providers to use off-the-shelf hardware to deploy software bridges that scale from 2 to 10,000 concurrent user ports. Wyde Voice's HD SoftBridge supports HD voice technology such as G.722.2 (AMR-WB), iSAC and a full-feature menu of conferencing capabilities normally found only on legacy audio conferencing bridges. Wyde Voice's HD SoftBridge offers open APIs which make it easy to completely control bridge and conference call functionality from any enterprise or web application. The new HD SoftBridge supports not only high quality voice codecs, but subconferences, Q&A, operator assistance, real-time active speaker notification, conference broadcast and additional technology that guarantees voice quality even when network congestion reduces bandwidth availability. Wyde Voice's HD SoftBridge can be sized according to a customer's regional location needs, and internet-worked via a single stream connection to enable regional, national, and international conference calls over geo-distributed areas.
