Tekelec and Romanian Operator to Present at Number Portability 2009 ConferenceBARCELONA, SPAIN, Sep 21, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC) and COSMOTE Romanian Mobile Telecommunications will examine real-time number portability implementation in Romania at Number Portability 2009. The conference will be held September 21-23, 2009 at the Hotel Barcelona Princess in Barcelona, Spain. Kurt Damm, director of technical sales support at Tekelec, and Adrian Degeratu, switching manager at COSMOTE Romania, will address number portability technical specifications, planning and deployment, as well as the advantages of harmonized real-time network solutions within a country.
