Broadview Networks acquires assets of Natural Convergence


Sep 18, 2009 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Broadview Networks, Inc., a US-based network-based integrated communications provider, has acquired the assets of Natural Convergence, Inc. (NCI).

NCI is a Canada-based provider of hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) applications to telecom carriers and service providers.

Announcement (August 5, 2009): Broadview Networks has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of NCI.

The acquisition includes NCI's software, including source and development code, and other related assets. It also includes all hardware, inventory, and intellectual property held by NCI, including patents, trademarks, and service marks.

With the acquisition, Broadview Networks will acquire the intellectual property, previously purchased under a license agreement, including the source code, of NCI's premier application Silhouette(TM).
