[September 18, 2009] 'UPC to deploy Pace HD STB to reduce energy consumption' Tweet Sep 18, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Developer of digital TV technologies and set-top boxes Pace has developed a HD set-top box for European cable TV operator UPC Broadband to help the operator digitise its cable network and rollout HD services across its European footprint (nine countries). The Pace box for UPC has been created under Pace's Low Environmental Initiative, which is delivering lower power consumption, reduced packaging and reduced use of hazardous substances in manufacture.
