[September 16, 2009] 'Agito deploys mobility router for Hertford Regional College' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Hertford Regional College has deployed enterprise mobility specialist Agito Networks' Agito RoamAnywhere Mobility Router to improve the accessibility of mobile staff. Agito Networks worked with UK-based partner Convergis on the new customer deal. In addition to the mobility router and Cisco's WLAN and IP-PBX, HRC has deployed Nokia handhelds and subscribes to T-Mobile mobile service. Hidlebaugh's initial roll out was to key staff in network services, security and maintenance that are mobile and do not always have access to a fixed-line phone. The next rollout is planned for teachers next spring, with students potentially to follow. Agito's RoamAnywhere Mobility Router fuses Wi-Fi, mobile and unified communications with location information. RoamAnywhere offers an FMC product with high availability, security, and the IP-PBX and mobile handset support, including support for the Research In Motion BlackBerry smartphone.
