'Sipgate cuts calls to EU fixed-line networks by up to 75%'


Sep 11, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- German VoIP service provider Sipgate has cut the cost of calls to EU fixed-line networks by up to 75 percent. The price cuts apply to both private and business customers. Sipgate claims that calls to fixed-line networks in all 26 EU markets will now cost an average of EUR 0.032 per minute, compared to an average of EUR 0.22 per minute charged by Arcor, EUR 0.213 per minute by Freenet and EUR 0.165 per minute by 1&1.
