China Mobile to Strive for CNY1,000-priced OphonesBEIJING, Sep 07, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China Mobile Limited (SEHK: 0941 and NYSE: CHL) showcased several models of Ophone terminal devices and will strive for Ophone mobile phones priced at CNY 1,000 or so. As the first Internet-oriented smart mobile terminal software platform led by telecom carriers, the Ophone platform will push the mobile communications industry to achieve a new growth. The launch of the platform enables the communications industry to execute technology innovation, including new product research and services catering to consumers, noted a government official.
