[September 04, 2009] Entone Amulet and Hydra Integrate with Conklin-Intracom fs|cdn IPTV Tweet Sep 05, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Entone, Inc. and Conklin-Intracom officially announced the interoperability of Entone's Hydra IP Video Gateway and Amulet IPTV Receiver with Conklin-Intracom's fs|cdn integrated IPTV solution. The companies said the product offering has been deployed in multiple U.S. customer environments. One such customer is Delhi Telephone in Delhi, NY. "Delhi is migrating from our existing VDSL video product to FTTH. The Entone Hydra is a 1 for 1 replacement for the home gateway / set top box currently deployed. In some applications it saves hours of installation time by reusing existing in home wiring. We're very pleased with the results of the collaborative development efforts," said Bill Trelease, Delhi's CTO. "Our mission is to enable service operators to deliver live TV and value-added services, such as whole-home DVR, VOD, and online media services, throughout a home using existing in-home wiring," noted Steve McKay, CEO, Entone. "Our integrated solution significantly lowers the operating and capital costs for operators looking to deploy IPTV and TV services."
