FaxCore Announces the Release of FoIPBOX II at ITEXPO

IT EXPO West, Los Angeles, CA (News - Alert) – September 2, 2009 - FaxCore, the industry's leading fax communications platform today announced the introduction of FoIPBOX II.  Conceptually,  FoIPBOX II is identical to the extremely successful FoIPBOX product series, but the new version includes some major enhancements. 

 

Key enhancements include a compact 1U server, FaxCore 2007 SP1 and the latest Dialogic® products supporting the robust V.34 fax standard.  V.34 offers Error Correction Mode (ECM), higher compression, and a data rate of 33.6Kbps for shorter transmission times and lower phone costs.

 

The server is a 1U Rackmount chassis with dual drives, RAID 1, 4GB of memory and can handle the Dialogic® Media Gateway Series (DMGs) from 2 to 60 fax channels.

Appropriate Dialogic Media Gateway product with Dialogic® Brooktrout (News - Alert)® SR140 Fax Software

FaxCore application

Microsoft O/S and SQL or SQL Express

Remote installation

First year of support and maintenance

 

In North American markets, the FoIPBOX II / DMG product line supports 2-48 lines.  For countries based on the E1 Telecommunication Standard, FoIPBOX II supports 2-60 lines.  FoIPBOX II also has a Pure SR140 option for those customers that may have a VoIP system in place from companies such as Avaya or Cisco.
