Qwest To Terminate Wireless Unit In 2 Months (Q,VZ)Aug 18, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 8/18/2009 - Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE:Q) said Tuesday that customers have two months to find a new wireless provider as the company shuts down that part of their business. The company announced terminating its wireless unit last year and is offering Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ). There will be no termination fee for ending the Qwest service and customers will be able to carry their number over to another provider if they do so before October 31.
